Organised by the Ministry of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Joint Staff of the Armed Forces of BiH, the 19th Conference of the General Inspectorate of the Ministry of Defence of BiH and inspectors in the Armed Forces of BiH was held on 26 March 2026 at the Armed Forces Hall in Sarajevo.

The conference was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of BiH, parliamentary and institutional structures, as well as international partners, including NATO Headquarters Sarajevo, EUFOR, and representatives of the military-diplomatic corps in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Results and Key Highlights

The host of the conference was Brigadier General Edin Fako, General Inspector of the Ministry of Defence of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who presented the results of the work of the General Inspectorate for 2025, highlighting visible progress in strengthening integrity, professionalism, and legality within the defence system.

Special emphasis was placed on improving preventive action, strengthening institutional accountability, and developing mechanisms for more efficient identification and resolution of irregularities within the Ministry of Defence and the Armed Forces of BiH.
